1. What's the last thing you wrote? What's the first thing you wrote that you still have?
The last thing I did was "Soul Mates" for NaNo but it's not done and not much yet. First thing? Probably poetry I wrote in high school.

2. Write poetry?
Yes, though not reacently.

3. Angsty poetry?
Not really.

4. Favorite genre of writing?
Right now it's Fantasy, but a good romance never goes wrong.

5. Most annoying character you've ever created?
Chabbish, Tobas; an overbearing young guy with a nasty temper and a penchant to over react and do dramatic things like flashing crowds.

6. Best Plot you've ever created?
The Watchers of Sionon, a saga of romance, fantasy and subtile religous bits.

7. Coolest Plot twist you've ever created?
The Vale, it's sort of a mental mystery.

8. How often do you get writer's block?
Haven't really had it. Just never have enough time to write all my ideas.

9. Write fan fiction?
I don't think so, although I do find myself thinking that certain elements of my books are like things I have read in other books. For instance there is a scene in The Watchers where Annia visits her old Mother in Law that is a lot like a scene in Jane Eyre.

10. Do you type or write by hand?
I write notes by hand but I write the book itself on the computer.

11. Do you save everything you write?
Most of it, except when I delete a scene that I know doesn't work.

12. Do you ever go back to an idea after you've abandoned it?
There are things that I have taken from stories that I know will work elsewhere.

13. What's your favorite thing you've ever written?
Probably the Watchers series but there is a poem I wrote about a price and a farmer that's sort of fun still.

14. What's everyone else's favorite story that you've written?
I guess I've had the most nice comments on The Watchers.

15. Ever written romance or angsty teen drama?
Romance; The Dream and the Nightmare, first novel I ever wrote.

16. What's your favorite setting for your characters?
The great hall garden in the house of the ancients in the Watchers.

17. How many writing projects are you working on right now?
Getting ready to rewrite the second book of the Watchers. Getting ready to send out the first. Writing a Chrismas letter...

18. Have you ever won an award for your writing?
No.

19. What are your five favorite words?
Right now they are - serendipity, indubitably, chalcadry, cinnamon, and a new favorite, twaddle.

20. What character have you created that is most like yourself?
Meg Garret in The Vale.

21. Where do you get ideas for your characters?
People I've know in life or on TV.

22. Do you ever write based on your dreams?
Yes, The Vale is based on an eerie dream that I had frequently for a while. Funny, now that I think of it I quit having that dream after that...

23. Do you favor happy endings?
Yes. Otherwise what's the point? I read to escape not to depress myself.

24. Are you concerned with spelling and grammar as you write?
Yes, but not to the point that it holds me back.

25. Does music help you write?
No, the stuff on the CD never goes with what I'm writing. I did however write a song as I was writing a scene, it just came to me... It's in the Watchers.

26. Quote something you've written. Whatever pops into your head.
After Tobas exposes himself... Aaronia is laughing. "Oh to see his face again..."
Aavard says, "As long as it is only his face that we have to see."
That's probably not exact but I'm too lazy to look it up.

Chalcadry... I will have to look that up. Tobas was quite annoying! Great job!
